In 1992 our co-founders commenced representing financially troubled businesses by negotiating settlements of their burdensome unsecured trade debts.  This often involved negotiating out-of-court settlements on debts already in litigation.  Between 1992 and 1998 they often negotiated settlements for personal debts of the principals of client companies involved these debt-restructuring programs.  In 1998 they saw an opportunity to specialize in the consumer market where they would successfully apply their vast experience from negotiating complex commercial workouts.

Provanta's entry into this market was timely.  Skyrocketing consumer debt, high interest rates, penalties, and over-limit fees combined to produce untenable problems many consumers could not see how to resolve short of declaring bankruptcy.

Then and now we offer an honorable alternative to bankruptcy that represents the fastest and least costly way to get out of debt.
